I almost forgot how to smile...

This is the first time I've intentionally smiled with my mouth open (in a picture at least) in over six years. 

Insecurity is a truly unfortunate thing in all instances, but especially when it causes one to live inhibited.

I hope to continue to never deny myself the right to feel and express.

Rawr; Taking on the Concrete Jungle

Women already have it tough navigating through the demands of work and play (oh you know like the gender pay gap and constant sexualization) so how about some empowerment in the form of lion-inspired shoes? (And by no means do I mean to support the co-optation of women's rights ideals!) Sure these 5k Christian Louboutin heels won't fit into, well let's be honest, hardly anyone's budget, but at least they're gorgeous to look at and can offer a sense of inspiration and motivation; certainly that's what they did for me! 

"I am woman, HEAR ME ROAR"
