Downtown

Bottega Louie  with one of the best friends everrr.
Then it was off to Downtown Art Walk followed by macarons, Hershey hugs, and other yumminess at home. Not to mention online window shopping and Vegas trip planning!

Pretty sure I've also decided on a place for my birthday dessert! I'm thinking of an assortment of the following...Macarons, cupcakes topped with Macarons, and a Le Grand Macaron. Heh.

lovely evening before the craziness of Spring semester begins next week...

Photobooth of Change

Hear Us Roar! Rawrrr

So blessed to have taken this Women and Pop Culture Class with Professor and founder of Feminist Fatale, Melanie Klein. Also, so honored to have been a part of this insightful and inspiring project (one of many!) and to have met and created friendships with such strong and lovely women.

Cheers to another upcoming amazing semester and watch out D.C. here we come!

Jason Wu for Target: First Look

Back in October, Target released a teaser video with Wu stating that his "muses are always unexpected, a little whimsical; a model or even a cat." Obviously I gushed. The bottom left corner of the just released ad campaign reads: "MISCHIEF IS IN THE DETAILS" Could there be any better statement to describe a collection inspired by cats and French New Wave Films? I think not.

Ad Inspiring

Upon the third round of flipping through the Fall issue of Vogue yet again, I kept coming back to this exquisite photograph; Carolina Herrera Fall 2011. Sigrid Agren looks absolutely stunning and has a look in her eye that is, well, unexplainable; she is most definitely channeling the 1970s photo of Carolina Herrera herself that was used as inspiration. When I found out that it was indeed Patrick Demarchelier that shot this lovely photo, the first thing I said to myself was, "of course."
